I hired Nikki to create the flowers for my wedding October 2nd, 2010. The flowers were gorgeous and I absolutely loved them! Nikki did an excellent job of capturing the look and feel we wanted for our wedding reception at Welch Village! We would definitely recommend Something Blue to our friends and family for many reasons, especially the low cost and Nikki's creative talent!! The whole process from our initial meeting and the questions along the way went very smoothly - and Nikki had our trust from the beginning. We got so many compliments on our decorations from our guests. There is no way we would've had the time and energy to decorate so elaborately ourselves, not to mention afford to purchase all the supplies to fill a room designed to fit 400 guests! Nikki also worked with our reception site coordinator to figure out details on timing/measurements, etc. so we didn't have to worry about those details. We had a very pleasant experience overall and will definitly use Nikki again if we throw a big event! -Kristine Bohm
Nikki was wonderful to work work with. She was prompt to respond and very willing to make my day as easy as possible. I had some basic ideas for the reception site: Winter wonderland with our colors being silver and blue. I wanted to lots of sparkle, without being over the top. It was beautiful! We received a ton a complements on the decorations at our reception site. The owner and a few workers at the reception site also commented on how it was best decorating they had seen a long time. Her rental prices are the best that you will find, as I looked for months. Save yourself and/or your friends and family the hassle of buying and then doing the decorations yourselves. You will be so glad you left it in Nikki's more than capable hands. -Brooke Lindquist
